We are committed to using vintage textiles and deadstock, surplus and excess fabrics rescued from larger fashion companies; materials that would otherwise be destined for landfill. By exclusively working with fabrics that already exist, we actively prevent textile waste, while also reducing the ongoing demand for newly produced materials.
Most importantly, OMEY aims to reconnect sentiment and meaning to children’s clothing. By crafting pieces with history, character and emotional value, we help families build memories with each wear. We believe that when garments hold sentimental significance, they are far less likely to be thrown away. In this way, OMEY not only reduces waste through upcycling, but also challenges the mindset that fuels overconsumption; offering timeless heirloom pieces designed to live many lives, not just one.
Beyond material reuse, OMEY champions craftsmanship, quality and longevity. Each garment is carefully constructed from high-quality natural fabrics, built to withstand years of wear and designed to be cherished. Our unisex silhouettes are intentionally created to be passed from child to child, between siblings, cousins or friends; making hand-me-downs a celebrated part of our brand ethos rather than an afterthought.
