Each piece carries history and character, crafted through thoughtful upcycling to reduce environmental impact. Made from natural fabrics, our designs are created for modern family life, moving effortlessly from special occasions to beach holidays and relaxed days at home. Rooted in nostalgia and craftsmanship, every OMEY piece is destined to become an heirloom that tells a story for generations to come.

WHO WE ARE
Moss Omey is the founder of OMEY kids and a Central Saint Martins alumna, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. She specialised in creative pattern cutting and brings over a decade of experience working within the fashion industry.
Having worked with leading luxury brands such as Wales Bonner, David Koma, The Row, and Rejina Pyo, she brings a strong creative sensibility to her technical practice. Moss is also Head of Repurposing at a bridal boutique in London, with sustainability at the heart of her practice, she believes that giving a garment or textile a new lease of life is one of the most meaningful choices we can make.
OUR STORY
As a mother of two, it was during Moss' second maternity leave she was inspired to launch Omey Kids. Frustrated by heavily gendered clothing, Moss wanted to create unisex pieces that were easy to pass on between siblings and friends.
With craftsmanship, sentimental nostalgia and sustainability at the core, Moss marries her love of sourcing vintage textiles with her design background and detailed eye for technical fit, construction and quality.

MEET OMEY
Say hello to Omey who sparked an idea that would grow into what we are today!
Moss's great-grandmother Omey’s hand-crocheted pieces sat unused for decades, until they were passed down to Moss, and being named after her, she felt an immediate connection. Studying their intricate designs highlighted how craftsmanship has quietly disappeared across generations. This inspired OMEY Kids, where relics of the past are transformed into contemporary childrenswear, reconnecting family craft with the next generation and creating garments designed to be cherished, passed down and become future heirlooms.
